Hi, I’m Sarah Tomchesson.
Since 2007, I have developed, programmed and presented comprehensive, pleasure-based sex education, run a national sexuality education program, and produced sex education content as well as in-person and digital events. In 2020, I founded Damiana Productions which specializes in developing and producing video content for wellness & sexuality brands. My years of professional experience in the field of sexuality and my lived experience in queer, sex-positive, kinky communities have made me invested in the stories we tell and the ways empowered and authentic representations of sexual expression impact all of us.
I grew up in the theater and prior to becoming a trained sexuality educator, I worked in film in the wardrobe department. My combined experience in both fields, plus my extensive intimacy coordination training, gives me the ability to work seamlessly on both sides of the equation as an effective liaison between production and performers.
In addition to my current role with Damiana Productions, I am a proud mama to a vivacious 6-year old and honored to sit on the Board of Directors as Vice Chair of SIECUS - Sex Ed for Social Change, the organization leading the push nationwide for policy changes to implement comprehensive, intersectional sex education as the norm.
